On 24th March, Alice and Jo will be holding space for 3.5 hours of mindful movement, meditation and nourishing practices at Prana House in Thornbury.
Held in silence, the day will begin with practices of slow movement and breath, and conclude with meditation, yoga nidra and sound. The session is open to and welcoming of all.
Our lives have a tendency to be full and noisy, with limited space for self-reflection and contemplation. From traffic to workplaces, and social activities to social media, pace and sound make up much of what we experience.
Building a practice around silence is an art form rooted deeply in self-compassion. It is a lifelong journey towards being OK with ourselves, as we are. Ultimately, working with silence allows us to invite ourselves beyond distraction and discomfort, arriving in a space where personal wisdom can rise up to the surface.
